ANNUAL WELCOME AND INFORMATION FAIR!

The University at Buffalo will be hosting a Welcome and Information fair for  all new incoming graduate students.

On behalf of the Graduate School at the University at Buffalo, We invite you to attend the annual Welcome Program and Information Fair for Incoming Graduate Students to be held on Friday, August 26, 2011. The program will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Center for the Arts – Drama Theatre with presentations by the Graduate School and the office of Student Academic Records and Financial Services. Immediately following those presentations, an information fair and reception will be held in the Center for the Arts Atrium until 3:30 p.m.
Representatives from Career Services, Student Wellness Services, University Libraries, Study Abroad Programs, Recreation & Intramural Services, the Graduate Student Association, and many more,
will be available to talk with you at the Information Fair. Parking permits will be available for pick up at the Campus Parking and Transportation table for students who have pre-registered online for a parking permit. All students are required to register online for parking permits.

for essential information for new graduate students regarding:
•financial aid
•computer software and equipment, information technology, and internet security
•requirements from the office of Student Affairs (Judicial Affairs and Health Services)
•state graduate student employee health insurance
Our Welcome Program and Information Fair is not mandatory and you do not have to sign up to attend this event. However, this special event is very beneficial for new graduate students and we strongly encourage your attendance. We are aware that some departmental orientations have been scheduled for the same date and time. Concurrent department orientations take precedence over the Welcome and Information Fair.
